1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HeavenHome (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors regardless of location.

2. About our estimates

The paint calculator and any other estimator on HeavenHome produce guidance figures only, not a guarantee of the exact amount of paint your project will require. Coverage rates, surface factors and coat multipliers are carefully chosen from manufacturer data and real-world testing, but the actual consumption on your walls depends on factors we cannot see or measure: the porosity and condition of your substrate, the skill and technique of the painter, the roller nap and application method, ambient temperature and humidity, and the specific batch of paint you purchase.

You are responsible for confirming quantities with your paint supplier before purchase, and for satisfying yourself that the estimate is appropriate for your particular surface and conditions. We recommend keeping a small surplus for touch-ups regardless of the calculated figure.

3. No professional advice

The content on HeavenHome — including calculators, guides, tables and tips — is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not professional painting, building, surveying or legal advice, and it does not create any professional relationship between you and HeavenHome. For project-specific guidance, especially where structural work, lead paint, asbestos, damp proofing or Listed Building consent may be involved, consult a qualified professional.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use HeavenHome lawfully and not to:

• use the Site in any way that breaches applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Site, its servers or any related infrastructure;
• introduce viruses, trojans, worms or any other malicious code;
• scrape, mirror or systematically copy the Site's content without our written permission;
• use automated scripts to overload or stress the Site's resources; or
• misrepresent HeavenHome or claim our content as your own.

Reasonable personal use, including printing a calculation report or sharing a calculation link, is warmly encouraged.

5. Intellectual property

All content on HeavenHome — including the text, layout, design, logos, graphics, the calculator interface and the underlying calculation method — is owned by or licensed to HeavenHome and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view, print and share pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, republication, distribution or commercial exploitation requires our prior written permission. The HeavenHome name and logo are our trademarks.

6. User-provided content

If you email us feedback, corrections or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, adapt and publish that content (in whole or in part) to improve the Site, without compensation or attribution to you unless you specifically request attribution. Please do not send us confidential or proprietary information.

7. Third-party links

The Site contains links to external websites that are not operated by us. We have no control over and accept no liability for the content, accuracy or practices of those sites. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Visiting any external site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeavenHome, its operators and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content — including but not limited to wasted materials, overspend on paint, project delays, or loss of profit — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your use of the Site and reliance on its estimates is entirely at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. The Site is provided "as is"

The Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or that any estimate will meet your particular requirements.

10. Changes to the Site and to these terms

We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site, or any calculator or guide, at any time without notice. We may also revise these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HeavenHome is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Site, subject to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
